Bridge Introduction

Tripo3D Blender Bridge is a lightweight add-on that connects Blender directly to the Tripo studio frontpage. With this bridge, you can send generated models from the browser straight into Blender in real time—no manual downloads, imports, or extra steps required. It’s designed to streamline workflows for artists and designers, letting you focus on creating rather than juggling files.

Requirements

• OS: Windows, Mac
• Blender: 4.1.0 or newer
• Browser:
  • Supports Google Chrome 116+, Edge 116+, Opera 102+
  • Other browsers are not supported
• Default Export Settings:
  • pack_uv: false
  • export_vertex_colors: false
  • pivot_to_center_bottom: true
  • texture map: Current Maximum

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Go to Tripo Studio and download the Tripo3D Blender Bridge ZIP file.

Step 2: In Blender, click Edit → Preferences → Add-ons.

Step 3:

• Click Install from Disk, locate the downloaded ZIP file (don't unzip it), then enable the add-on.

• Then press N to check the Tripo bridge panel

Step 4:

• Open the Tripo Studio website, click the DCC Bridge button, and activate the Blender plugin.
• Confirm the connection is set up correctly.

• Press the Export button in the mini window.

• If you want to export an animation, select the animation(s) you want to export in the export panel, then click Send to the specified DCC.

Step 5: You can now see the model in Blender from the website.

FAQs

Q: Can I transmit data to multiple Blender instances simultaneously?

A: No. The connection only recognizes the first Blender instance launched. Opening multiple instances will cause a "Port already in use" error.

Q: I've updated the plugin, but the new Tripo Bridge shows "All connections closed" and fails to connect. What should I do?

A: Restart Blender and re-activate the plugin in the Add-ons preferences. Ensure the Tripo Bridge Log displays "Server running on port [XXXX]" to confirm a successful connection.
