What's New on Tripo: April Updates

April brought a lot of small but meaningful improvements to Tripo Studio, along with two bigger updates we are especially excited about: GPT Image 2 is coming to the creation workflow, and Smart Mesh is now open for every user to try for free.
Together, these updates make Tripo Studio feel more complete. You can move from an idea to a generated image, turn that image into a 3D model, test higher-quality mesh output, and keep working with fewer interruptions along the way.
Here is everything new in April.
🔥 GPT Image 2 Is Coming to Tripo Studio
A great 3D asset often starts with a strong visual idea. That is why we are bringing GPT Image 2 into Tripo Studio as part of the complete text → image → 3D creation workflow.
With this update, creators can describe an idea, generate an image with GPT Image 2, and then turn that image into a 3D model directly inside Tripo Studio. The whole process becomes more connected, with fewer tool switches, fewer exports, and less friction between each creative step.
For creators, this means a smoother way to move from imagination to usable 3D content. GPT Image 2 helps generate stronger visual concepts, while Tripo takes those visuals forward into 3D.

🔥 Smart Mesh Free Trial Is Now Open to All Users
Smart Mesh is now available for every user to try for free.
This means anyone can experience Tripo's pro-tier mesh quality without needing a paid plan first. Whether you are testing game-ready assets, exploring cleaner topology, or simply curious about how Smart Mesh fits into your workflow, you can now generate your first Smart Mesh model with zero commitment.
It is a simple way to see what higher-quality AI-generated 3D assets can look like in your own projects.

A Smoother Workflow from Generation to Export
We also shipped several workflow upgrades this month to make everyday creation in Tripo Studio feel more efficient.
Godot and Cocos Engine Bridges
Tripo now supports direct workflow connections with Godot and Cocos Engine, making it easier to move generated models into your game development environment.
Instead of downloading, converting, and manually importing assets, creators can generate in Tripo and send models directly into Godot or Cocos. This helps reduce repetitive export steps and keeps the asset pipeline cleaner from creation to implementation.
Settings Memory
Tripo Studio now remembers your last generation and export settings.
Once you configure your preferred options, they stay in place for your next session. This small upgrade saves time, especially for creators who repeatedly work with similar formats, styles, or export requirements.
Input Image Preview
You can now preview the exact reference image you are working with before generation.
This makes the image-to-3D process easier to control because you can confirm what Tripo is building from before starting the generation. No more guessing after the fact.
Smoother Uploads
The upload entry and upload flow have been redesigned to reduce unnecessary steps.
Whether you are starting from an image or bringing in files for generation, the updated flow helps you move from upload to creation more quickly.
Cleaner Workspace History
Your creation history is now easier to navigate.
The workspace history has been reorganized so you can find previous generations faster, review past work more easily, and continue building from assets you have already created.
Tripo Studio Is Now Available to More Users
This month's updates also make Tripo Studio easier to access globally.
Sign In with 5 More Platforms
You can now sign in to Tripo with X, Discord, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook.
This gives creators more flexibility when accessing Tripo Studio and means one less password to manage. Small mercy, big win.
4 New Languages Added
Tripo Studio now supports German, French, Italian, and Turkish.
With these new language options, more creators can use Tripo Studio in a language that feels natural to them, while keeping the same AI 3D creation workflow.
PayPal Is Now Accepted
PayPal is now available as a payment method on Tripo.
Creators can check out with PayPal alongside existing payment options, making subscriptions and upgrades easier for users who prefer it.
Building a More Complete AI 3D Creation Experience
April's updates are part of a bigger direction for Tripo Studio: making AI 3D creation more connected, more accessible, and more practical for real creative workflows.
From GPT Image 2 integration to Smart Mesh trials, engine bridges, improved workspace tools, new sign-in options, additional languages, and PayPal support, each update is designed to remove friction between the idea and the asset.
Whether you are creating for games, product visualization, design, ecommerce, animation, or personal projects, Tripo Studio is becoming a more complete place to explore ideas and bring them into 3D.
