About Your Creation

On a wasteland filled with red rocks, standing atop the traces left behind by humans, a single meerkat is immersed in an elegant imagination. In his dream, he is no longer a wild animal bound solely by instinct. He is a cool meerkat with a finely groomed mustache and a well fitted suit, the owner of a splendid cafe. Sweeter dreams, however, are seldom long lived. It is only the desolate desert that greets meerkat who open his eyes over the falling wall. Through the expansion of the camera perspective, this work guides the viewer's gaze from small props in the cafe to the entire indoor space, and ultimately to the panoramic view of the desert, visualizing a physical and intuitive interpretation of "Out there." Simultaneously, through a narrative that transitions from a splendid fantasy back to a ordinary reality, the work expresses the contrast and shift of abstract space.
